Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Touchline Impact handles information in the Touchline Impact iOS app and on this website. It applies to version 1.0 of the app.

Information in the app

You may enter information such as a player display name, jersey number, age group, position or role, opponent, game date, score, planned match length, playing time, and tracked soccer actions.

In version 1.0, this information is stored locally on your device. Touchline Impact does not receive, collect, or transmit it to its own servers. The app does not require an account.

CSV exports

When you choose to export a CSV file, the app creates the file on your device and presents the standard iOS sharing interface. You control where the file is saved or who receives it. Any third-party service you choose is governed by its own privacy policy.

Support communications

If you email support@touchlineimpact.com, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot, and improve the app. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information or player details.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Version 1.0 does not include third-party advertising, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. Touchline Impact does not sell personal information.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Its hosting provider may process limited technical information, such as IP address and security logs, to deliver and protect the site.

Data retention and deletion

App data remains on your device until you delete individual records, use the erase-data option in Settings, or uninstall the app. Because version 1.0 has no cloud backup, deleted app data may not be recoverable. Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to address the request and maintain support records.

Children and teenagers

Touchline Impact is intended for parents, coaches, and players age 13 or older. Anyone under 13 should use the app only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. Because version 1.0 does not create accounts or transmit player and game records to us, we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app.

Security

Local storage reduces online exposure, but no device or storage method is completely secure. Protect your device with a passcode and use care when exporting or sharing CSV files.

Future features

Future versions may introduce optional accounts, cloud features, anonymized benchmarking, or AI-assisted analysis. Before those features collect or transmit data, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice and choices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves or legal requirements change. The revised effective date will appear on this page.
